He wants out of the marriage and you just want him to stay.  You don’t know what to say to him to make him feel the same way that you do.  And it scares you.

You are not sure what is going to be in your future,  but you do know what you want.  You want him.

You want things to work.

I can’t promise you that they definitely will.

There are situations that no matter what,  they just cannot be remedied.  When your husband is to the point where he just feels like he wants out of the marriage and that is the end of the story,  you may not be able to change his views on that.

What you can do,  is to take a look at the reasons WHY he feels like he wants out of the marriage.  There has to be some specifics there and you have to find out what they are.

-  Does he want out of the marriage because he just wants to be able to date other women and that is the main reason why he wants to end things?

If that is the case,  then you may be out of luck to get him to change his mind.  He may be just at that point where the only thing that he wants to do is to have some fun and a marriage does not work into those plans.  Of course,  some of the reason why he may want to have that fun is because your sex life is rather boring or even nonexistent.  This can be remedied,  if you should choose to try and do that.

-  Does he want to end the marriage because there has been too much fighting and it seems like the easiest solution to him?

Arguing is no fun for anyone that is involved and if there is a lot of arguing that goes on between the two of you,  then that is something that can really ruin any hope that you may have and that he may have that things will work out one day.  This is a situation that CAN be fixed,  but you have to know HOW to fix this problem.  It usually does not just go away.

-  Does he want to end the marriage just because your relationship has become too dull and too predictable?

It’s so easy to just let things get this way.  You have your work that you do and he has his and it is really too easy to get caught up in all of that and forget what is really important.  Too much of a dull thing can make someone want a change just so that they can hope for some happiness.  If this is the reason why he wants to leave the marriage,  you can fix this as well.  You can find a way to make things exciting again and make him feel like he has yet to experience the best of being married to you.

There are plenty of reasons why your husband may be thinking that the best choice is to just end the marriage.  You have to find out the reason WHY he feels that way and then see if there is a way that you can remove the why so that he has no reason to feel like leaving.
